Composition: Esomeprazole IP 40 mg (gastro-resistant)

What is it used for?
- Acid reflux (GERD) and heartburn
- Erosive oesophagitis
- Stomach and duodenal ulcers, as prescribed

How does it work?
Esomeprazole: A proton-pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces the amount of acid the stomach makes.

How to use
- Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water, exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
- Do not crush, break or chew it.
- Take 30–60 minutes before a meal, preferably in the morning.
- Do not stop or change the dose without your doctor's advice.

Important precautions
- Long-term use should be reviewed by your doctor.
- Tell your doctor if you have severe or persistent diarrhoea.
- Tell your doctor about all other medicines and supplements you take.
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding.
