How It Helps:
Helps control blood glucose levels by stimulating insulin release from the pancreas and reducing glucose production in the liver. Metformin also improves the body's sensitivity to insulin.

Indications:
Used to improve blood glucose control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus, along with diet and exercise, as prescribed by a physician.

Directions for Use:
Take orally with food, as directed by the physician. Swallow the sustained-release tablet whole; do not crush or chew it.
