FLUTIHAB-OX

Composition: Fluticasone Furoate 27.5 mcg + Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride IP 50 mcg per metered spray; 100 metered doses.

What is it used for?
- Allergic rhinitis with severe nasal congestion (short-term use)

How does it work?
Fluticasone: A corticosteroid nasal spray that reduces swelling and inflammation in the nose.
Oxymetazoline: A decongestant that shrinks swollen blood vessels in the nose to clear a blocked nose.

How to use
- Shake the bottle well and gently blow your nose before use.
- Prime the pump before first use.
- Keep your head upright, insert the nozzle into one nostril, close the other and spray while breathing in gently; repeat in the other nostril as directed.
- Aim slightly away from the centre of the nose; wipe the nozzle and replace the cap after use.

Important precautions
- Tell your doctor about nosebleeds or long-term use.
- Do not use the decongestant for more than 5–7 days in a row – longer use can cause rebound congestion.
- Tell your doctor about all other medicines and supplements you take.
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding.
