Composition: Empagliflozin 25 mg + Linagliptin 5 mg
What is it used for?
- Type 2 diabetes mellitus, along with diet and exercise
How does it work?
Linagliptin: A DPP-4 inhibitor that increases insulin release and lowers sugar production after meals.
Empagliflozin: An SGLT2 inhibitor that removes extra sugar from the body through the urine and also protects the heart.
How to use
- Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water, exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
- Do not stop or change the dose without your doctor's advice.
Important precautions
- Tell your doctor about severe, persistent stomach pain (rare risk of pancreatitis).
- Drink enough water; keep the genital area clean to reduce the risk of infection.
- Your doctor may stop it before surgery or during a serious illness.
- Tell your doctor about all other medicines and supplements you take.
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding.
