How It Helps:
Helps control blood sugar levels through two complementary mechanisms. Empagliflozin helps remove excess glucose through urine, while linagliptin helps regulate blood glucose by enhancing the body's natural incretin hormone activity.
Indications:
Used to improve blood glucose control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus, along with diet and exercise, as prescribed by a physician.
